Heavenly Mountain Resort is located on the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe. It has 97 runs and 30 lifts that are spread between California and Nevada and four base facilities. The resort is Tahoe's highest ski resort, with a peak elevation of 10,067 ft, peak lift-service elevation of 10,040 ft and a vertical rise of 3,500 feet. With an average of 360 inches of snow annually and one of America's largest snowmaking systems, their season usually runs from mid November to late April or early May.

While I respect a difference of opinion and would readily enter a debate ,..... a new Six Pack chair at Squaw a Funiutel thar can run in 40 cross winds a mountain that is open any time a EXPERT can cope with adverse conditions Heavvenly has a Lot of affordable Motels, a narrow Highway 50 ,, MOtts Cyn a great Nevada Side for super G high speed crusing, BUT there is nothing worn out about EXPERT TERRAIN at squaw Aside from Glen Plakey , you'll find oh World Freeski Championships on the Tram face or Silverado vs oh the Shirley Temple John Denver, celieb think I'm wrong would love to take you for a run down Frog and Toads at squaw and I'lll gladly go ANYWHRE in Motte Killebrew Cyn now I admit I qualify my opinion based almost solely on Expert Double Diamond terrain I could care less about child care, handy wipes at the lift,casinos at the base. and other amenities that are valid. ...
