11/12: Live Tonight – The Drums

Plus, a super shopping girls night out and augmented reality exhibit

REALITY 2.0: Instead of creating another world, a la Second Life, this new tech/art exhibit improves upon the one you already live in. Tonight get to Fort Mason Center for the highly anticipated Shecky's Girls Night Out- an evening full of shopping, delicious cocktails and beer, fall-fabulous beauty treatments and much more. The fun starts at 5 p.m., sign up for one of their famous goodie bags.

THE DRUMS: These four boys from Brooklyn can sure put on a show. Tonight The Drums have their San Francisco live debut at 330 Ritch Street. The band takes inspiration from 50s and 60s bands, using hand claps and falsetto backing vocals to produce a contagiously energetic sound. The show begins at 10 p.m.

MUNI PARTY: Wear your cocktail attire and bring your flash pass or $2 and get ready to party on the Inbound M Metro train at the San Francisco State University stop at 7:17 p.m. The official Muni after party will kick off on the Muni train before a real party at Otis lounge.
