Looking for something to do Saturday?

Small Black got together in 2008, recording its first EP in the attic of a surfboard workshop. Now they are headlining at the Independent with Class Actress and Young Prisms performing. It's over 21 only and $14 at the door, $12 here.

Have a laugh with Comedian Mike Epps at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at San Jose's Improv. The stand-up comedian also acts on the side - he starred in Vin Diesel's "Strays" and appeared in HBO's "The Sopranos."

Fishbone will be blasting its funk-rock-ska fusion at the Warfield tonight. The eclectic group was an underground favorite with a large cult following in the '80s. Get tickets here.
