The legendary Merle Haggard will bring a little country to the Bay Area with a performance at the Mountain Winery, 14831 Pierce Rd. in Saratoga tonight at 7:30.

Hip hop wouldn't be anywhere without the lyrical rhythms of the best slam poets around. The Berkeley Poetry Slam at The Starry Plough will celebrate the genius of hip hop with a little help from house band Three Blind Mice tonight at 8:30.
