    The "Mighty Uke Roadshow" will be at the Castro Theatre this weekend.

    Friday and Saturday return to a time when the Fantasticks were entertaining audiences everywhere. The longest running production in the world returns to the Retro Dome, 1694 Saratoga Ave. in San Jose this weekend. Go inside the tale of two people who fall in love only to learn that love does not conquer all.

    The Tour de Fat comes to Golden Gate Park this weekend as part of its 13 city tour to spread the benefits of riding a bike. From the societal effects of ditching four wheels and a motor for two and a pair of feet to just the flat out fun of riding a bike in a community setting. Tour de Fat will be at Lindley Meadows in Golden Gate Park Saturday.

    More than 90 years ago it was harder to find a ukulele than a guitar in this country but then rock and roll changed things. But thanks to the advent of YouTube and social networking, the Hawaiian instrument is making a come back. This Sunday, the Castro Theatre in San Francisco will host the documentary the "Mighty Uke Roadshow" along with life performances.
