The Black Eyed Peas Open a South Bay Academy

The Black Eyed Peas were in our very own downtown San Jose to unveil the PeaPod Adobe Youth Voices music and multimedia academy. The collaboration between the nonprofits - Black Eyed Peas PeaPod Foundation and the Adobe Foundation - will provide professional and curriculum technologies for art, dance, music and video production to under-served youth. A private ceremony was held with the Grammy Award winners and the youth to launch the new site. The academy aims to generate digital literacy in order for youth to express themselves regarding community and global issues that are concern them.
