The last time Conan O'Brien was scheduled to come to San Francisco he was a battered and beleaguered man. He ended up canceling his appearance at the SF Sketchfest because it was in the middle of the Late Night Wars Episode II.

O'Brien promised the Bay Area contingent of Team CoCo that he would return and make good on his promise to make them laugh.

The whitest man is show business is in the Bay Area and he is tweeting all about it. In fact he is tweeting from Twitter's headquarters.

"I'm sending a tweet from inside Twitter HQ," he tweeted at noon Friday. "I'll bet those hot girls in high school wish they had slept with me now."

O'Brien played the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco Thursday night and was joined by special guest and Bay Area native Chris Isaak for a rendition of Elvis' "That's All Right, Mama."

"Our first show in San Francisco was AWESOME!!" O'Brien wrote in a statement. "Even though we were in this weird Masonic Temple; even though there was no backstage area except a hallway and stairs, even though the stage was round and took some getting used to."

O'Brien will play one more show in San Francisco Friday night before moving down for a performance at the San Jose Event Center in two weeks. All the shows are of course sold out. If you still want to go, Craigslist is your best bet.
