Earth Friendly Workers Rewarded With Bike-In Movie

In case you were planning to play hookey from work Thursday, you can still take part in Bike to Work festivities.

For the second time in as many years, the Disposable Film Festival will take part in Bike Week celebrations with a bike-in movie screening, according to 7X7.

The idea works just like a drive-in movie theater minus all the noise and pollution. Ride your bike to the Good Hotel parking lot in San Francisco Thursday at 4 and enjoy food from ForageSF's Underground Market.

Stick around until 8 p.m. and be rewarded with a free movie made in the spirit of the Disposable Film Festival: short films made on cell phones, low-end video cameras or disposable devices.

Make sure to bring a blanket or a lawn chair because sittng on your bike seat for an extended period of time could get uncomfortable.
