Zoo Free for SFPD, FD, on 9/11

The San Francisco Zoo has announced a special deal for city police and fire department employees this Sunday.

All San Francisco police and fire employees and their families will be admitted to the zoo for free on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, zoo officials said.

The zoo is also offering 10 percent off food purchases for the employees and their families.

Zoo officials said the free admission is their way of saying thank you for the hard work police and fire employees do every day to serve the community.
