So what if Apple CEO Steve Jobs won't be there, you can still get into Macworld for free this year.

We hear nothing too much is new with the face of Apple anyway. Plus all the popular gadgets he is behind will still be at the largest Mac lover's conference around.

The conference will go on sans Apple for the first time.  Jobs pulled out of the last Macworld amid early rumors of his now famous health troubles. But the company denied health played a role in the iconic techie's decision to withdraw from the event and sent a replacement instead.

A free hall pass is available for next year's Macworld in February at San Francisco's Moscone Center with early registration. FuncheapSF.com tells us (via our friends at SF Appeal) the deadline to sign up and get in for free is today.
