    M.I.A. really doesn't like Tenacious D.

M.I.A. may not be a big fan of Outside Lands but she has no problems with the East Bay.

The colorful hip hop artist was less than thrilled about one of her recent appearences in the Bay Area.
She was scheduled to open for the Beastie Boys at last year's Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco but after the hip hop legends were forced to cancel their appearence when member Adam Yauch was diagnosed with cancer, M.I.A. took to Twitter to vent.

"CANT BELIEVE THEY REPLACED BEASTIES WITH TENACIOUS D ??????????????????????AND IF I PULL OUT THEY SUE! SO REALLY? TENACIOUS D AFTER ME ?" @_M_I_A_ tweeted. "P.S I ORIGINALLY BOOKED ON SHOWS COZ BEASTIES WERE HEADLINERS , BUT NOW THEY AINT DOING IT AND I JUS WANNA SAY , WE HAVE TO GO HARD!!!"

A year later, M.I.A. appears to have no hard feelings with the Bay Area but maybe she doesn't want to return to the City by the Bay.

She will play a show at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.
