Jennifer Siebel-Newsom's movie will be on Oprah's network.

Former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom may be enjoying a quieter life in Sacramento but things are picking up for his wife.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom is an actress, mother and most recently a documentary filmmaker. It's her documentary and 2011 Sundance Film Festival entry "Miss Representation" that is making waves.

The Second Lady of California wrote, directed and produced the documentary that explores women being under-represented in positions of power.

The movie has been well received by critics and now it has been picked up the Oprah Winfrey Network.

The talk show host's television network bought the rights to Siebel Newsom's movie. It is the eleventh movie the network has purchased.

The movie will be part of Winfrey's Documentary Film Club, which will be set up much like her famed book club.
