Robin Williams is going on the road. But he's not going all that far, just to Mill Valley - a stone's throw away from home.
The Bay Area-based, Marin-bred comedian will play two shows at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley next week, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
Williams goes on stage at 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 29 and 31, the newspaper reported. Tickets to the show, "Still Working on Material," are $50 and are available only online at www.142throckmortontheatre.com.
Williams has traditionally used shows at the small venue to tune-up his main act, the newspaper reported.

Proceeds from the show will go to a charity of the comedian's choice.
