Talk about your all nighters. This one sounds both awesome and educational.
The California Academy of Sciences is opening its door this Friday at 6 p.m. to children six and older for something they call "Penguins + Pajamas." They have activities planned through Saturday morning, including a few hours shut eye.
Here's what you get for your $119 ticket ($99 for members):
- An overnight stay in African Hall or Steinhart Aquarium
- Rainforests of the World exhibit until 8:00pm
- Planetarium showing
- Penguin Presentations and Q&A with a biologist
- Late night snack and continental breakfast
- Parting gift
This is not an overnight daycare. Parents are supposed to accompany the kids. The list of things to bring includes a sleeping bag and pillow. It looks like you will sleeping on the floor, but you are welcome to bring a blow up pad if you want.
If you can't swing it tomorrow night, the academy is also offering the overnight tour on July 16 and August 13.
