The Woz Hopes Buddy Holly Erases the Teletubbie

Apple co-founder looks for better performance Monday

A fractured foot won't keep the hefty Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak from gracing the stage (as best as he can anyway) in "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night.

Wozniak had X-rays and an MRI last week, which showed that he had a fractured foot, but he promised his fans on his Facebook fan page that he would soldier forth. After all a broken foot couldn't keep him from launching Apple, why should it keep him from dancing with the stars?

"It didn't stop me once during the last two days of heavy practice and other aches for overwhelm that foot now," he said about his broken foot. "The walking cast and being careful have paid off. "They hurt is not gone but I only rarely are even aware of it now. And I went 4 days without aspirin or any other pain relief."

The Woz said he is preparing to do a "quickstep" Buddy Holly "geek-like" routine. And while he is excited about his next performance, Wozniak said the fitting of his costume left a little to be desired because it was not necessarily his style. But he trusts his dance teacher and partner Karina.

Wozniak's first performance on the show did not go well. Wearing a pink shirt and blowing kisses, Wozniak rumbled his way to "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet." And for his sake, and his fans sake, let's hope we haven't seen nothing yet because there wasn't much to see in the first performance.

Judge Bruno Tonioli summed up the performance by saying watching Wozniak dance, "was like watching a teletubbie going mad in a gay pride parade."

But we can tell from the videos below that Wozniak is working hard. Check him out Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
