NBC Bay Area's traffic anchor Mike Inouye offers tips on how to best get around San Francisco during the Bay Area's big weekend.
To say there's a lot going on this weekend in San Francisco is an understatement. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency have put out some maps and tips on how to get around and where to avoid.
America's Cup/Fleet Week Service: Muni will provide extra service. The primary route will be the 47L from Civic Center and Van Ness stations.
Giants baseball game: Muni Metro, or the Market Street subway is the easiest way to get to AT&T Park. Take any train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain. Get on at King and Second streets. Take the N Judah toward Caltrain, the T Third toward Sunnydale, or the shuttle from the Embarcadero.
Transferring from BART? There are two Muni sales tables at the Embarcadero station.
Transferring from Caltrain? The baseball park is one block from the train station. There is also the N Judah Line east from the station on King at Fourth streets, or the T Third Line north from the station.
There will also be a ballpark shuttle after the game from the park to the Embarcadero Station.
49ers game: Take the Muni Express to the stadium at Candlestick Park
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass: There are several Muni lines going to Golden Gate Park, though officials warn there will be crowds and delays. There will be extra service on the 5 Fulton line between the temporary Trans bay Terminal and Fulton and 36th and on the N Judah Line.
