    De La Soul performs tonight at The Fillmore.

    BETTER IN THREES:Long Island's hip-hop trio De La Soul is coming to The Fillmore in San Francisco tonight at 9 p.m. Tickets are $29.50.

    FILM FANS: Celebrate the opening night of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival at the Swedish American Hall. Food will be provided by some of the Bay Area's best vendors, and a local jazz band will provide the music. Tickets are $75 and include a seat at the Castro Theatre, where there's a special showing of "Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger" at 10:30 p.m.

    SCARY MOVIE: Watch the 1955 kitschy film "It Came From Beneath the Sea" outdoors for free at Jack London Square in Oakland. The trivia game starts at 7:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 8:00 p.m.
