What You're Doing Tonight: Feb. 18

Free day in the park, Miles Outside and Chicano Art

IT'S FREE: The amazing and new California Academy of Sciences goes free all day today. Go take a look at the living roof, an albino alligator, a walking rain forest and a lot more at our favorite museum in the park, 55 Concourse Dr. in San Francisco.

WELCOME BACK: The Bay Area's own Miles Outside will rock that stage at the Elbo Room, 647 Valencia St. in San Francisco, at 8 p.m. The local hipsters bring their high energy funk music back home.

CHICANO ART: The Mexican Museum will open a collection of Chicano Art that  represents a wide range of Chicano artists from the 1960s to present, and includes photographs, paintings, lithographs, mixed media installations, altars and graphic arts. The show starts at noon at Buchanan Street and Marina Blvd. in San Francisco.
