What You're Doing Tonight: May 1

Full Figure Appreciation Night, Yann Tiersen and Jeff Garcia

Yann Tiersen playing live

IF YOU LIKE BIG BUTTS: Are you a man who likes his women large? Tired of being made fun of going for the Jello? Well tonight is your chance to be rewared. The Full Figure Men's Appreciation Night celebration comes to Club Anton, 428 3rd St., in Oakland at 10 p.m. Plus size women and DJ's will join forces to honor their men with big hears. For more information visit Full Figure Entertainment's Web site.

FREEDOM MUSIC: Not everything out of France is bad. French fries, French bread and even composer Yann Tiersen are not half bad. The composer, best known for his score to the Jean-Pierre Jeunet movie "Amelie" will play the Great American Music Hall, 859 O'Farrell St., in San Francisco at 8 p.m.

NOT JUST A FOOTBALL PLAYER: Not only is Jeff Garcia back in the Bay Area, but the Raiders new quarterback is now a comedian. Well not really. But Jeff Garcia of HBO fame will play Cobb's Comedy Club, 915 Columbus Ave., in San Francisco tonight.
