Where to Watch World Cup Finale

The World Cup final match between Holland and Spain is today and the Bay Area's two largest cities are holding outdoor watch parties to celebrate.

In San Francisco the big screen that has been set up at Civic Center since the first match will be fired up for the final time starting at 11:30 a.m.

San Jose is also joining the outdoor party.   A block from 1st Street and San Carlos Ave. will be blocked off so folks can watch a giant video display.  The TV will face South from San Carlos.  The San Jose Earthquakes are also setting up a festival area with inflatables for families near 1st Street and San Salvador.

The party takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities hosted by the San Jose Earthquakes will  include a player meet-and-greet, a kids recreational area and a soccer skill  area. SoFA restaurant and entertainment venues will also serve up food and beverage specials throughout the day.
