World Cup Comes to a Ballroom

Here's a new way to watch the World Cup.

Starting at 7 a.m. Friday for the USA vs. Slovenia game,

The Julia Morgan Ballroom will be opening to the public to host an all-day watch party.

They're bringing in some jumbo screens and offering a full bar, breakfast, lunch and bar bites for purchase throughout the day.

They'll also be airing the U.S. Open, England vs. Algeria World Cup game and the Giants vs. A’s games later in the afternoon.

Half-hourly raffles and panel discussions with golf pros should round out the brofestivus.
