Those who sifted through the 20,000-word article in Mission Local may have noticed that the second San Francisco location for Arizmendi Bakery has been confirmed.
Fittingly, the worked-owned, co-op offshoot of Berkeley's iconic Cheeseboard will be in San Francisco's Mission district.
It's due in Summer/Fall 2010 in the long-vacant 1270 Valencia space, which is slowly coming together, with fellow newcomer wine bar Heart—which, by the way, takes the prize for worst restaurant logo of the year.
The Mission Arizmendi will be its fifth location, with locations two and three in the East Bay and number four due in early 2010 in Marin.
