The Godfather of wine country has a new venture.
The newly renovated Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Alexander Valley, Calif. opened Tuesday with a movie memorabilia gallery, a performing arts pavilion, a new restaurant, bocce ball courts and more.
Famed director Francis Ford Coppola is the driving force behind the winery named after him. But beyond taking his name, the grounds have memorabilia from some of Coppola's more well-known projects, including “The Godfather” and “Bram Stoker’s Dracula.”
For the hardcore Coppola fans, there is also an opportunity to stand with greatness. All of the director's Oscars are on display at the winery.
