Don't tell Steve Jobs but Flour + Water is closing.

Albeit temporarily. Eater SF reports that the popular pizza and pasta shop in the City will be closing its doors for 11 days starting March 24.

After two years of constant traffic, Flour + Water is going to get a paint job and a refinished interior.

All will not be lost during the hiatus. Chef Thomas McNaughton will use the time off to create some new pasta dishes. That should make the chef's pasta-teaching class more interesting.

Once the restaurant reopens April 4, there should be eight pastas served everyday.
