Chef Ryan Farr of 4505 Meats is willing to pass along his hog butchering knowledge as long as you are willing to pony up for the new skills.
Our friends at Grub Street report that a class on how to butcher a whole hog will be taught by the chef Tuesday May 18 for a measly $125. The price tag gets you 10 to 12 pounds of pork to take home.
But make sure to reserve your spot early. There is only a two-hour window for lessons and students are picked on a first come first serve basis.
