New Year's First Victim: Trans Fat

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's New Year's resolution is to take care of your heart.

The body builder turned actor turned politician signed a bill outlawing trans fat in July 2008. So starting Jan. 1 all California restaurants will be required to block use of the artery-clogging ingredient added to foods.

But like all things in politics there are exceptions.

For those in love with the hydrogenated vegetable additive just make sure to visit your local unhealthy bakery.

Bakeries will have until Jan. 1, 2011.
