The force is not as strong as it once was. Francis Ford Coppola Winery is offering a 25 percent discount on its 2006 Merlot and Chardonnay versions of its Skywalker Ranch Wines.

The wine usually sells for about $40 a bottle and is made with grapes grown at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in Marin County.

The "Godfather" director and Mr. Star Wars have a history of working together. The long time friends teamed up to make "American Graffiti" in 1973. And about a decade later they started making wine together after Lucas mentioned at a party that he had grown some grapes at his ranch and didn't know what to do with them.

Skywalker Ranch is of course Lucas' retreat where he houses Skywalker Sound and a 300-seat theater called "the Stag."
