Chinatown & J-Town Give SPUR a Big Hug: SPUR and the Asian American community…

SPUR and the Asian American community are just one big old lovefest. At least that's one takeaway from a new writeup on AsianWeek that has yet to go online. The city's Japantown, one of only three in the country, has seen a bit of revitalization lately (though some people still hate on the "shlocky" fairs), and SPUR's all about bringing in "more of a modern Japanese planning style, building upwards." For the record, they're also for the Chinatown subway: "The higher the density, the more you can justify transportation infrastructure."
