Two of Delano's IGA markets in San Francisco are closing their doors just in time for the holiday season.
The staff at the store at 27th and Geary and the second store on 18th Street were given news of the closing before Thanksgiving, according to Grubstreet.
There are still locations in the City but it is unclear what will happen to those. Delano's closed its Tiburon store last year. The stores have already posted signs announcing that they are reducing hours but there is no confirmation of the closure.
The Richmond SF blog suggests that the move could be a foreshadow of an impending bankruptcy filing.
