Every once in a while, Curbed SF checks in with the San Francisco rental market. And we do it the layman's way: by scouring Craigslist. For today's episode, we took a spin around the $2500-$3k price range. Verdict: Dicey. Look hard, renters— it's a wildly unpredictable jungle out there.

What: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo
Where: SoMa Grand, 1160 Mission Street
How Much: $2,795.00
The Hard Sell: " Joie de Vivre hospitality services include 24 hr coffee/tea in the beautiful lobby, 8 to 8 concierge and 24 hour security. There is a state of the art gym, jacuzzi, huge patio with "cuddle" chairs, barbeque, social room, yoga room, meditation garden and firepit!"
