San Francisco Artist Set to Paint the City's Largest Mural

San Francisco painter Brian Barneclo is setting out to paint the City's biggest mural on a building at 7th Street and Townsend.

The piece will cover the entire wall, which is viewable from both I-80 and Caltrain. Once completed, the mural will be 600-feet long and 40-feet tall, totaling 2,400-square-feet of figurative illustration of city life and personal connections.

"Treat it like a 'Boom! Welcome to San Francisco,'" Barneclo said.

The artist is still trying to raise the necessary money to complete the project. Adobe has already pitched in $10,000, and if all other funding is secured, the piece should be done by June.
