San Francisco Gets Specific With High-Speed Train

The proposed Transbay Transit Center is where the City wants high-speed trains to go.

Enough already with the playing coy—SoMa Supervisor Chris Daly & Co. want to require the high-speed rail authority to terminate their trains at "the new Transbay Transit Center, under construction at First and Mission streets."
No Beale Street alternative, no 4th and King, no demolishing the Watermark. Just straight up Transbay Transit Center. If the wording ever ends up in a ballot initiative, it'll of course be up to voters to decide in favor of what everyone already thought was supposed to be happening.
