San Francisco Landmark Inspires Brooklyn Bar

Hipsters now have East Coast option for daytime drinking

Worried that the upcoming closure of Dolores Park for renovations might stand in the way of your weekend drinking?

Well, you can always move to Brooklyn.

Because that's where a new bar named "Mission Dolores" recently opened.

Yes, near the trendy latest up-and-coming Brooklyn neighborhood you'll never convince friends from Manhattan to visit now has a little slice of San Francisco -- a mostly al fresco venue, with reclaimed wood everything.

Wonder if they ground bottle caps into the floors for authenticity? Maybe leave a little dog doo around? Or serve cannabis laced-truffles and street food snacks?

They certainly got one piece of the Dolores Park experience right: They've already started pissing off the neighbors.

Yes, New Yorkers have already co-opted our burritos, saag paneer pizza, fresh roasted coffee and many, many other delights of the San Francisco lifestyle.

But they can never take our better weather!
