Storefronting: All We Need is Another American Apparel

advertisement

Storefronting is Curbed's regular look at the changing retail scene, with an emphasis on how it impacts neighborhoods. Opening a store? See a store that's opening? Send the deets 'n pics.

In a bid to flip the FiDi into another hipster hotbed (good luck with that, Dov) American Apparel will soon set up shop at 507 Bush Street at Grant. While the masters of advertising featuring nubile "real" models in scandalously metallic spandex (we'll just stop there) have already plastered the building for your viewing pleasure, construction permits are good through December. We're guessing an early 2009 opening. Or in time for X-mess, if we're lucky.
