Costco Ends Its Relationship With Apple

Not everyone wants to get in bed with Apple -- or stay in it for that matter.

Costco has ended its relationship with the iPod maker by what the bulk store says is mutual consent. Apple would not comment on the status of its relationship.

Costco use to sell the iPod and pre-paid iTunes vouchers but the store said it decided to stop selling Apple products because it did not get a big enough discount to make the sales worth it to Costco.

Apple is notorious for controlling the cost of its product and few stores, even mega powerhouses such as Wal-Mart, have been able to get Apple to offer discounted products.
