This chic corner store with its uniquely painted facade and noticeable signage provides all the necessities needed to live the European lifestyle with a clear emphasis on French savoir-faire. When owner Isabelle Karatzas greets you, it is with the sincerity of a hostess welcoming you to “Ma Maison,” or “My House.” Catchy Paris lounge tunes resound as merchandise of all varieties beckons each customer.

Gifted with a keen sense of style, Isabelle offers a selection of practical yet fashionable items from polka dotted opaque glass bowls in various sizes (one in particular is perfect  for morning cereal) to pewter salad tossers. In addition to stylish kitchenware,  her supply of exclusive and unique jewelry is always au courant. This sophisticated collection includes oversized cocktail rings and Cleopatra-like necklaces. The stones and metals are combined to create a pieces that deserve the title of decorative art.

The selection also includes linens of Provence and chunks of soaped loofahs stacked next to tubes of exotic teas. If a romantic evening or a lively dinner discussion with friends is on the agenda, Ma Maison has the perfect tools and decor: handmade beeswax candles, aperitif glasses, bamboo cheese boards, elegant knives to use for a meal of Steak Au Poivre & Frites, decanters for hearty burgundy, oval white ceramic dinner plates and even vases for the roses-- oh such savoir-vivre!
