Raiders Madden 11 Rating Goes Limp

The Madden NFL '11 video game is meant to resemble real NFL football down to the tiniest of details. Updates are sent out constantly, as game developers at EA headquarters in Foster City madly program changes to reflect all the injuries, roster changes, promotions, and demotions from every single NFL practice.

Well Mr. Darrius Heyward-Bey, they noticed you took four days off for fatigue last week. And they took you to the statistical woodshed for doing so.

The Oakland Raiders' second-year receiver was issued a very harsh markdown in the Madden '11 universe, according to a complete list provided by video game blog Pasta Padre. Heyward-Bey's Stamina rating was downgraded by nine points, taking DHB from an 88 to a 79 in that department.

It cannot possibly help you with the ladies when your stamina is so publicly questioned.

The only other NFL player served with the extreme indignity of a nine-point drop was Houston Texans' receiver Trindon Holliday. Holliday muffed a punt and dropped a kickoff to earn that downgrade.

It's not all bad news in virtual Madden Raiderland. Linebacker Kamerion Wimbley's overall rating was upgraded two points, from an 82 to an 84.

And if you've got Madden '11, you can use the new update to make that critical switch from Charlie Frye to Kyle Boller.
