Red Box Confusion Could Cost Movie Buffs

Dollar movie rentals could cost a lot more if customers don't watch out.

Rental companies Red Box and DVD Play representatives admit customers are confusing the companies when returning movies.

If movies aren't returned to the correct company, movie renters could received a $25 service charge

According to the Better Business Bureau, DVD Play has received a grade of F because they haven't responded to several complaints.

"The company you got it from doesn't think you returned it and they will bill you for it," said Better Business Bureau spokesman Barry Goggin.

Customers are urged to pay attention to labeling when renting movies so they don't make a mistake and are forced to pay a fee.

DVD Play said they have refunded customers half of the fee if they return the wrong movie rental company.
