Bad Weather Closes Tioga Pass

Stormy weather has led to the closure of Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park, while Sonora Pass was set to be shut down as of noon Monday.

Tioga Pass, which has an elevation of 9,943 feet, is a key link between the west side of Yosemite and the Eastern Sierra.

Sonora Pass has an elevation of 9,624 feet.

There was no estimate of when the passes will reopen.
