Bay Area Forecast Feels Like Winter

The calendar says December so we should be surprised it's cold outside

This week's forecast looks a lot like winter as a cold front sweeps through the Bay Area.

The work week started with temperatures on the cool side with periods of rain. And things will get ever colder from here on out.

The chilliest forecast set for overnight Tuesday, according to the NBC Bay Area weather department.  Lows could be in the high 20s in some parts of the Bay Area.

That's when we could hit records lows in both the North Bay and the East Bay.

The next chance for rain will arrive Thursday and in addition to the precipitation, you can count on gusty winds and another shot of cold air.

The weekend also looks like it could be rainy. The timing is bad because that is when a lot of people will be traveling for the Christmas holiday.
