Scattered rain showers will continue into the afternoon with mild temps mainly in the upper 60s to low 70s in the South Bay. Rain should move northward into the evening, with showers ending into early Wednesday. This will be a brief break before what looks to be a much wetter storm system arrives during the day Thursday. Coastal mountain rain rates/hour could get heavy at times, and bears watching esp. the burn areas in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey counties. Rain should change into showers for Friday then more showers into Saturday ahead of increasing wind and rain into early Sunday. Our active pattern continues to roll on to wrap up the month.
