Max Temps | NBC Bay Area

Weather Video Forecast

The return of low clouds within a marine layer about 1,500' thick will keep the coastline fairly chilly and power up some ocean a/c for our inland valleys today. Highs will be about 10-15 cooler for our interior valleys with highs in the mid to upper 80s in the warmest spots. Temps should continue cooling even more into the weekend as an area of low pressure approaches from the Gulf of Alaska bringing below average temps for a change and breezy conditions at times. Early next week there is still a chance for some rain at times, especially for areas north of San Francisco. Stay tuned to see if this chance for early season Fall rain materializes as the event draws closer.
