Surface Fronts | NBC Bay Area

Weather Video Forecast

High pressure will slowly begin to weaken approaching the weekend, however inland valleys will still see temps in the 90s even as the sea breeze turns on a bit more strongly by Friday afternoon and evening. More noticeable cooling for the valleys should arrive by Sunday as the marine air deepens and extends its influence further inland early next week. Upper level winds near the Soberanes Fire in Monterey County will likely continue pushing smoke northward into the South and East Bay, in addition to ground level ozone levels means another Spare the Air day for Friday.
