Mild and Breezy Sunday

Onshore winds will help keep low clouds and fog anchored near the coastline today and prevent temps from getting too warm inland. Highs should climb into the 70s to mid 80s inland with cool, misty 60s near the beaches, to near the low 70s closer to Santa Cruz. High pressure should build slightly into Tuesday allowing inland spots to warm a few more degrees before some interesting changes drop in late Wednesday into Thursday. A strong trough of low pressure by late June standards will bring cooler temps and a slight chance for some light rain or showers to the Bay Area on Thursday, mainly for areas in the North Bay. Temps will climb again heading into next weekend as high pressure rebuilds back across Northern California.- Rob Mayeda
