Summer Showers Soon? | NBC Bay Area

Summer Showers Soon?

Our marine layer is deepening slightly in the next 48 hours, which will insure coast and bay locations see highs in the 60s and 70s with an increasing afternoon sea breeze. Inland valleys should still see highs in the 80s to 90s with mostly sunny skies. The main item of interest in the forecast starting later on Sunday is watching a plume of subtropical moisture spilling northward toward the Bay Area out of Southern California. This will bring partly cloudy skies to finish the weekend, and possibly lead to some showers or isolated thunder for Monday especially near the coastal mountains, so stay tuned! Enjoy your Saturday Rob Mayeda
