Apple to Unveil β€˜the Future of iOS & OS'

Nothing gets Apple fanboys in a frenzy like vague announcements from the mothership. Apple delivered one today: The annual Apple Wordwide Developer's Conference -- often the stage for major iPhone announcements -- will be held June 6-10.

"At this year's conference, we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS," Apple exec Phil Schiller said in a press release, according to TechCrunch.

What does the future of iOS hold? Cloud integration, so you can store apps, music, files and more on Apple's servers, instead of on your phone? Near-field communications for improved payment system? Magical mind-reading software so you don't even have to type?

Apple's staying mum on the subject, as usual.

Barring any surprising leaks (another phone prototypes left behind at a bar, perhaps), you'll likely have to wait until June to find out.
