Facebook Lets Users Search 1 Trillion Posts

On Monday, 1 trillion Facebook posts can be searched by keywords, making even your past posts less private.

Sure, they can only be accessed by the user and their friends, but it's open and often open to interpretation, according to TechCrunch. Also, Facebook can now learn a lot about you from you past, and so will its third-party developers or advertisers. They won't know everyone's name, but they will know their history.

It's also possible that Facebook would improve event suggestions,"show us posts with similar content," or even filter out pictures of babies, it reported. Facebook's suggestions are likely to improve because it has real glimpses into a user's life and even internal dialogue. Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg said on an earnings call last July that Facebook's AI would help with figuring out what people's posts really mean -- and that likely means codifying them into data that can be sold.

After eight years of posts, Facebook has a lot of posts and a lot of data -- and none of it will stay private.
