Printer Responsible For Google Earnings Snafu Promises Changes

The company which published Google's earnings report early says it won't happen again.

The printing company responsible for publishing Google's earnings report ahead of schedule says it won't make such a calamitous mistake again.

RR Donnelly published Google's third-quarter revenue report early and released it about two weeks ago, according to reports. The company takes paper documents filed with the Security Exchange Commission and puts them online, where traders, investors and the general public can find them on a Web-based portal.

In a conference call, RR Donnelley CEO Thomas Quinlan said the mistake was "regrettable" and said that "additional enhancements" would make the mistake a one-time deal, according to Reuters.
