‘Radically Different' Macs for 2012?

Will Apple launch a line of totally different Macs in 2012 in an attempt to revive the PC? One report from Japan says that someone in Apple's Chinese supply chain says the design is radically different.

The source, Macotakara, is considered a  "hit-or-miss" new site, reported AppleInsider about the vague rumor. Vague is accurate -- there are no real details to the report other than someone said the design will be very different from the current Mac. That's not really going out on a limb, is it?

The truth is that Apple's iOS has been pummeling the PC, making Macs almost irrelevant -- except for us working folks who need a computer -- and it needs to do something to keep the Mac attractive. So while I don't think the report is worth much, I do believe that Apple has to be creating a new and different Mac -- if not, then Apple might as well quit manufacturing them.
