iPhone 5 to Look iPad-esque: Rumor Mill

Apple's plans for the next generation of iPhone have mainly bubbled on the hot stove's backburner -- until now.

With iPad 2 hitting shelves on March 11, the telephonic fix so much of the market seems to need is pointing to a phone with an aluminum back, an antenna embedded in the logo and no glass back.

According to Economic Daily News (translated by Macotakara.jp) and a parts-supply person in China, the (purported) new design would veer Apple from the contoversies of the iPhone 4 (antenna troubles, shattered glass, lack of a white-backed model).

The iPhone 5 is also said to have the new Apple A5 processor and will likely be announced in June/July. (MacRumors.com)
